Safety and conduct on trainer.sa
Last updated:
Keep messages in the app
Use the trainer.sa chat for everything to do with a booking: questions before you book, where to meet and changes of time. Until your first booking with a trainer is confirmed, we hide phone numbers, social media handles and links typed in the chat. After that you are free to talk, but we recommend keeping anything about the booking in the app.
Pay only through trainer.sa
Every payment made through trainer.sa is covered by our cancellation and refund policy. Never transfer money to a trainer directly, and don't accept offers that are "cheaper outside the app". See Payments and card holds.
Our conduct rules
We expect trainees and trainers alike to:
- Be respectful: no harassment, discrimination or abuse of any kind.
- Keep to the agreed times, and cancel in the app instead of not turning up.
- Respect privacy: don't photograph the other person or share their pictures or details without their permission.
- Be honest in profiles and reviews.
- Respect public decency and the laws of the Kingdom.
Breaking these rules can lead to an account being suspended or closed.
Tips before your first session
- Read the trainer's reviews and check the verified certificates on their profile.
- If you'd rather train with a woman, use the gender filter when you search and mention it in your booking notes.
- If the session is at your home, let someone in your household know when it is.
- For children's sessions, a parent or guardian should attend or stay close by.
- Tell your trainer about any injury or health condition before you start.
Reporting and blocking
- Report: choose "Report a problem" on the booking page, the trainer's profile or the chat. Our team reviews every report and gets back to you.
- Block: you can block anyone from the chat; they can no longer message you.
- In an emergency: call the emergency services first on 911, or the ambulance on 997, then let us know.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see phone numbers in the chat?
Until your first booking together is confirmed, we hide phone numbers, social media handles and links in the chat. That keeps messages and payments on the platform, where we can protect you and step in if needed.
What should I do if a trainer asks me to pay outside the app?
Don't pay. Report the conversation using "Report a problem". Paying outside the platform breaks our terms of use and means losing your right to a refund and to our help if something goes wrong.
